Founded by Bob Carlson in 1982 out of his home in Downers
Grove, IL, Pro Electric began as a small start-up electrical contracting company
that has since grown into a highly reputable and successful business providing the Chicagoland area with
reliable electrical services for over 27 years. Today, Pro Electric offers the

In the mid 1990's, Pro Electric was among the first local
companies to enter the residential generator market, providing customers with a
reliable, automatic solution to power failures in their homes. Now with over
fifteen years of experience installing and maintaining hundreds of generators, Pro Electric
has developed into one of the premier Chicagoland full-service dealers for
quality back-up power.
